Description

Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (for serving)
  • Caramel sauce or powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Toss diced apples with cinnamon and sugar in a bowl until evenly coated.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Place a few spoonfuls of the apple mixture onto each tortilla and roll them up tightly.
  4. Brush the outside of each taquito with melted butter.
  5. Arrange taquitos in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through.
  6. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and optional caramel sauce or powdered sugar.

Notes

Make sure to seal the ends tightly to avoid bursting during cooking. You can freeze unbaked taquitos for up to a month.
