Description

Deliciously crispy and cheesy egg rolls filled with pizza flavors, perfect for a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (optional)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped pepperoni, and chopped basil (if using).
  2. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cheese and pepperoni mixture onto the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  3. Add about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce over the cheese mixture on each wrapper.
  4. Fold the bottom edge of the wrapper over the filling. Fold in the sides to seal.
  5. Roll up tightly to form an egg roll. Moisten the top edge with water to seal it shut.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Lightly spray the egg rolls with cooking spray to help them crisp up.
  8. Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  9. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Serve immediately with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Avoid overfilling the egg rolls to prevent them from bursting during cooking. For added flavor, try different cheese or toppings.
