Description
A warm and delightful dessert featuring tart Granny Smith apples wrapped in buttery crescent rolls, topped with a sweet cinnamon sauce.

- 2 cans (8 each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon, or to taste
- 1 can (12 oz) 7 Up
- 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash, peel, and cut each Granny Smith apple into eight equal slices.
- Open the two cans of crescent roll dough and separate them into triangles.
- Place a slice of apple on the wider side of each triangle of dough and roll tightly to form a crescent shape.
- Butter a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the rolled crescents in the prepared baking dish, close together but not touching.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the butter-cinnamon mixture evenly over the crescent rolls in the baking dish.
- Pour the 7 Up into the baking dish between the rolls.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve warm, preferably with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven with a little butter to regain crispy texture.
