Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 onion, diced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and chicken broth, bringing to a simmer.
  4. Add rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and fresh spinach until spinach is wilted.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
