Description
A creamy cheesecake with delightful strawberry swirls, perfect for special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup strawberry puree
- 1/4 cup strawberry sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to create the crust.
- Beat the softened cream cheese until it’s creamy and smooth. Gradually add the sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to mix.
- Add the eggs one at a time to the cream cheese mixture, mixing well after each addition. Then, stir in the sour cream until everything is smooth.
- Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Swirl in half of the strawberry puree. Next, pour the remaining cream cheese mixture on top and swirl in the rest of the strawberry puree.
- Bake the cheesecake for 55-60 minutes, or until it’s set in the middle. Allow it to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Drizzle with the strawberry sauce just before serving.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and do not overmix the batter.
