Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 15 oz Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 8 oz rigatoni (uncooked)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 5 oz fresh spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the crumbled Italian sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add uncooked rigatoni, chicken broth, heavy cream, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir until pasta is coated.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and let cook for about 10-15 minutes until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
  4. Mix in fresh spinach until wilted, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
