Description

A delightful twist on traditional sushi, this creamy salmon sushi bake combines rich flavors of salmon with creamy ingredients for an easy family-friendly meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked salmon
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unagi sauce
  • 1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions.
  3. Combine cooked salmon, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and seasoned rice vinegar in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spread the cooked sushi rice evenly in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the salmon mixture over the rice.
  6. Top with panko breadcrumbs and drizzle with unagi sauce.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure the sushi rice is the right texture—sticky enough to hold together but not too wet. Avoid overbaking to prevent drying out.
