- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain the fat.
- Add the browned beef, diced potatoes, chopped onion, chicken broth, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper to the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
- Stir in the milk and cream and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve hot, topped with cheddar cheese if desired.
