Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Irish whiskey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the Irish whiskey, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the heavy cream and thyme, stirring to combine. Simmer on low for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
