- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or any kind)
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: breadcrumbs for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, then drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cream cheese until it melts and combines with the beef.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup, cooked pasta, and half of the cheddar cheese, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
