Ingredients

  • 12 oz tortellini
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir well to combine.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
