- 12 oz tortellini
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir well to combine.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
