- 20 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley and red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the heavy cream, chicken broth, cubed cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and butter in your crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 120 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Add the refrigerated tortellini and cover again, then cook on low for another 30-40 minutes until the tortellini are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
Use freshly grated cheese for the best results and adjust cooking times for frozen tortellini.
