Ingredients

  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted and creamy.
  5. Combine steamed broccoli with the cheese sauce in a mixing bowl.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Let sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh cheese for better melting. This casserole can also be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
