Description

A delightful mix of sweet, tart, and spicy, perfect as a condiment or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Sliced fresh jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine granulated sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Add fresh cranberries and sliced jalapeños to the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the cranberries to burst.
  3. Stir in apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly to integrate all flavors.
  4. Continue to simmer the mixture for an additional 5 minutes to concentrate the flavors.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  6. Transfer the contents to glass jars and seal tightly.
  7. Refrigerate jars for at least 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to fully develop.
