Description

A hearty and delicious meatloaf recipe inspired by Cracker Barrel, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onions, chopped bell pepper, beaten eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Spread ketchup evenly on top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
