- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onions, chopped bell pepper, beaten eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread ketchup evenly on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
