- 1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large bell peppers (any color)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Stuff each bell pepper generously with the crab and shrimp mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the stuffed peppers.
- Place the stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Fresh seafood is recommended for the best flavor. Use an airtight container to store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
