Description

A comforting pasta dish with Italian sausage, Brussels sprouts, and a creamy sauce, perfect for chilly months.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (your choice)
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (sweet or spicy)
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Cook the Italian sausage until browned.
  4. Stir in the halved Brussels sprouts and cook until caramelized.
  5. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the pasta and cook according to package instructions, adding more broth if needed.
  7. Once cooked, stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes
