- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 8 oz linguine
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, parsley, and chives. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to blend flavors.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the buttery sauce.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and makes the sauce creamy.
- Serve immediately, garnishing with extra herbs and cheese if desired.
Notes
Ensure to follow package instructions for cooking pasta; don’t overcook it. You can substitute chicken with sautĂ©ed mushrooms for a vegetarian option.
