Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, parsley, and chives. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the buttery sauce.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and makes the sauce creamy.
  7. Serve immediately, garnishing with extra herbs and cheese if desired.

Notes

Ensure to follow package instructions for cooking pasta; don’t overcook it. You can substitute chicken with sautĂ©ed mushrooms for a vegetarian option.
