Description

A delightful and easy-to-make corn casserole that’s perfect for potlucks and holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of corn, drained
  • 1 can of cream-style corn
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 package of cornbread mix
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the drained corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, cornbread mix, melted butter, and shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl. Add diced onions if you are using them.
  3. Mix everything together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

Mix ingredients just until blended; overmixing can lead to a dense casserole. Feel free to customize by adding ingredients like bell peppers.
