A creamy homemade frappuccino that captures the sweet essence of summer with fresh strawberries and a delightful vanilla base.

- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 2–3 tablespoons granulated sugar, or to taste
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
- 1 cup cold milk (whole, 2%, almond, or oat milk)
- 1 ½ cups ice cubes
- 3 tablespoons vanilla bean syrup
- ¼ teaspoon xanthan gum
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream, very cold
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 shortbread cookies, or a small slice of pound cake, crumbled
- 1 fresh strawberry, sliced or whole (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Strawberry Puree: Blend quartered strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Simmer for richer flavor if desired, then cool in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
- Craft Frappuccino Base: Blend cold milk, ice cubes, vanilla bean syrup, and xanthan gum on high speed until smooth and thick.
- Prepare Whipped Cream and Crumble: Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Crumble shortbread or pound cake for topping.
- Assemble the Frappuccino: Drizzle strawberry puree in your serving cup, pour in frappuccino base, add more puree, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with crumble. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.
Notes
Use cold ingredients for best texture and adjust sweetness to taste.
