Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 cup cold milk (whole, 2%, almond, or oat milk)
  • 1 ½ cups ice cubes
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla bean syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon xanthan gum
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream, very cold
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 shortbread cookies, or a small slice of pound cake, crumbled
  • 1 fresh strawberry, sliced or whole (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Strawberry Puree: Blend quartered strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Simmer for richer flavor if desired, then cool in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
  2. Craft Frappuccino Base: Blend cold milk, ice cubes, vanilla bean syrup, and xanthan gum on high speed until smooth and thick.
  3. Prepare Whipped Cream and Crumble: Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Crumble shortbread or pound cake for topping.
  4. Assemble the Frappuccino: Drizzle strawberry puree in your serving cup, pour in frappuccino base, add more puree, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with crumble. Garnish with a fresh strawberry.
