A vibrant and refreshing drink that changes color as you mix in lemon juice, perfect for summer parties and celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Water
- 2 bags Butterfly pea flower tea
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Fresh lemon juice (from about 4–5 lemons)
- 3 cups Cold water
- Ice cubes (as needed)
- Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 1 cup of water in a small pot.
- Add the butterfly pea flower tea bags to the boiling water and steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags, squeezing out any excess liquid.
- Mix the steeped tea with granulated sugar in a small saucepan and warm over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.
- In a large pitcher, combine the cooled blue simple syrup, fresh lemon juice, and cold water. Stir well.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
Notes
Ensure to steep the tea long enough to achieve a rich blue color. Freshly squeezed lemon juice is recommended for the best flavor.
