Description

Healthy, homemade protein bars packed with nutrients and natural ingredients, perfect for a quick snack or breakfast.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup natural nut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir well.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the natural nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Stir in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Line a baking dish with parchment paper, spread the mixture in the dish, and press down firmly.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours until set.
  7. Once set, cut into bars or bites and enjoy!

Notes

Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze individually wrapped for longer storage.
