Description

A refreshing salad combining the sweetness of apples, red grapes, and toasted pecans with a hint of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Medium-sized apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup Red grapes (halved)
  • 1 cup Pecans (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • A pinch of salt
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Toast the pecans in a skillet over medium heat with melted butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt for 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add diced apples and halved red grapes, gently tossing them together.
  3. Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the fruit mixture to prevent browning.
  4. Combine the apples and grapes until well mixed.
  5. Once cooled, add the toasted pecans to the bowl and mix gently.
  6. Drizzle honey over the salad and toss to coat the fruit and nuts.
  7. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

Serve the salad chilled. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
