Description
A refreshing salad combining the sweetness of apples, red grapes, and toasted pecans with a hint of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey.
Ingredients

- 2 Medium-sized apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 cup Red grapes (halved)
- 1 cup Pecans (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- A pinch of salt
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Toast the pecans in a skillet over medium heat with melted butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt for 3-5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, add diced apples and halved red grapes, gently tossing them together.
- Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the fruit mixture to prevent browning.
- Combine the apples and grapes until well mixed.
- Once cooled, add the toasted pecans to the bowl and mix gently.
- Drizzle honey over the salad and toss to coat the fruit and nuts.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
Serve the salad chilled. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
