- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- Reserved icing from cinnamon rolls
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and slice each roll into quarters, reserving the icing.
- Arrange the cut cinnamon roll pieces evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and granulated sugar until fully combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the arranged cinnamon roll pieces and drizzle melted butter on top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle maple syrup and the reserved icing on top while warm.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting into portions and serve warm.
Notes
