Description

Delicious Cinnamon Roll Dessert Bars with gooey cinnamon filling and creamy icing, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon
  • 3 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  5. Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the dough.
  6. Swirl the cinnamon mixture into the dough with a knife.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden and center is set.
  8. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  9. Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth for icing.
  10. Spread the icing over the cooled bars and slice into squares.
