Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar: In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.
  4. Combine mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mixture. Mix in the milk to form a soft dough.
  5. Roll and cut: Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut it into squares.
  6. Prepare the filling: In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to create the filling.
  7. Fill and seal: Place a small amount of the filling in the center of each dough square, then fold over and seal the edges.
