Description

Delicious and wholesome breakfast squares mixed with crunchy cereal, flavored bites, creamy yogurt, and fresh berries for a great energy boost.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy Cinnamon Crunch cereal
  • â…“ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup nonfat milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter, cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 6 ounces Greek yogurt
  • 3 cups fresh berries (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, or a mix)
  • Honey for drizzling
  • Nutmeg or cinnamon for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cereal, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, nonfat milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract (if using) until smooth.
  4. Gently combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until no flour clumps remain.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into individual pieces.
  8. Serve topped with Greek yogurt, fresh berries, a drizzle of honey, and a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon.
