Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage slaw
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Sour cream or yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp with olive oil, lime juice, chopped cilantro, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. While the shrimp is cooking, warm the corn tortillas.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing cooked shrimp on a warm tortilla, adding cabbage slaw and avocado slices on top.
  5. Optional: drizzle sour cream or yogurt on top, then serve immediately.
