Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or cherries
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips, chopped nuts, dried cranberries, rolled oats, and crushed pretzels until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded balls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers look slightly undercooked.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
