Description
A simple and fast holiday treat made in the crockpot, combining white and dark chocolate with crunchy peanuts.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs white almond bark, chopped
- 1 (12 oz) bag semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 (4 oz) bar German sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 (32 oz) container cocktail peanuts
- Holiday sprinkles, optional
Instructions
- Prepare the Crockpot: Line your slow cooker with a crockpot liner and lightly spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Add the Chocolate: Place the white almond bark, semisweet chocolate chips, and chopped German sweet chocolate into the crockpot in an even layer. Do not stir yet.
- Melt Low and Slow: Cover the crockpot with a clean kitchen towel, then place the lid on top. Cook on HIGH for 60 minutes, then switch to LOW for 60 additional minutes, stirring every 20 minutes until smooth.
- Stir in the Peanuts: Add the cocktail peanuts to the melted chocolate and stir until every peanut is evenly coated.
- Scoop the Candy Clusters: Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate-peanut mixture onto lined baking sheets, spacing them slightly apart.
- Decorate and Set: Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles if desired. Refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes, or until the candy is fully set.
- Store or Serve: Transfer the candy to an airtight container or package for gifting. Store at room temperature or refrigerate.
Notes
Use a crockpot liner to make cleanup easy and prevent sticking. Chop chocolate into even pieces for uniform melting.
