- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- Chopped nuts (optional)
- White chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and arrange saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat until bubbly. Pour the mixture evenly over the crackers.
- Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for a few minutes to soften, then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts or drizzle white chocolate on top.
- Allow to cool fully before breaking into pieces.
