Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 cup chocolate chips or festive sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until well mixed.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips or festive sprinkles if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan, cut into squares, and serve during the holiday season!
