Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Hershey’s kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, and salt, mixing until well combined.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly firm.
  7. Immediately press a Hershey’s kiss into the center of each cookie after removing from the oven.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Dust with additional powdered sugar if desired before serving.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Add a slice of bread to maintain moisture. Freeze for longer storage.
