Description
Moist, rich chocolate chip banana bread recipe with sweet bananas, butter, and chocolate chips — simple to make and full of flavor.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (3 ripe)
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Grease 9×5 loaf pan.
3. Mash bananas, add butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
4. Whisk dry ingredients separately, then combine gently.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Pour into pan and bake 55–65 minutes.
7. Cool and serve.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best flavor.
Add nuts or swirl in peanut butter for variation.
Wrap tightly to keep moist for 3 days.
