Instructions

- Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
- Stir in the sugar, then the beaten egg, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Mix in the flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the milk chocolate chips gently to distribute them throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once cooled, melt the chocolate for drizzling and pour it over the top of the cooled bread.
