Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ¾ cups chocolate chips (about 12 oz)
  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil
  • ½ cup unsalted roasted almonds
  • ¼ cup unsalted roasted almonds

Instructions

  1. Line a small or medium baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a medium, microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Heat the mixture in the microwave in 20-second increments, stirring until smooth and fully melted.
  4. Fold in the almonds until well coated with chocolate.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out into an even layer.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to firm up.
  7. Once set, take the sheet out and let it reach room temperature.
  8. Carefully separate the chocolate from the paper and break or cut it into pieces.
  9. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Notes

Ensure not to overheat the chocolate while melting and use quality chocolate for the best flavor.
