Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by mincing the garlic and ginger and slicing the cabbage into thin strips.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Add the lean ground beef and break it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about a minute until aromatic.
- Add the sliced cabbage and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until slightly wilted but still crunchy.
- Pour in the low-sodium soy sauce, stirring everything together and cooking for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Just before serving, drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
Can be customized with different vegetables or proteins; ensure not to overcook the beef.
