Description

A delightfully creamy dish with rich flavors of garlic, white wine, and fresh lemon, perfect for family dinners or elegant gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley, for garnish
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until reduced by half.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Remove from heat, stir in the remaining butter, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Don’t overcook the chicken for juiciness; use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
