Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley, for garnish
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until melted.
- Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until reduced by half.
- Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Remove from heat, stir in the remaining butter, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Don’t overcook the chicken for juiciness; use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
