Description

A delightful dish featuring succulent chicken breast rolled with ham and Swiss cheese, coated in breadcrumbs and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place a chicken breast on a flat surface, season with salt and pepper, and place a slice of ham and cheese on top.
  3. Roll the chicken breast tightly and secure it with toothpicks.
  4. Dredge the rolled chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and brown the chicken on all sides.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before removing toothpicks and slicing to serve.

Notes

Serve with roasted vegetables, a light salad, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
