- 3 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, and green beans)
- 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits (8 large biscuits)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Arrange the biscuits on top of the filling.
- Whisk together the melted butter and 1/2 tsp of garlic powder in a small bowl. Brush this mixture over the tops of the biscuits.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown.
- Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the ingredients and ensure to use fresh refrigerated biscuits for optimal fluffiness.
