Description

A delightful dish combining tender chicken breasts with fluffy potatoes in a rich, creamy Dijon sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  5. Add the diced potatoes to the same skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Mix in the Dijon mustard, heavy cream, and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and cover.
  8. Cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the chicken to keep it juicy. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
