- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
- Sift in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg; mix on low until incorporated.
- Fold in oats and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets and shape if needed.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–9 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft; let cool before serving.

Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
