- ½ cup whole milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 3 cups maraschino cherries, halved
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, whole milk, vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the halved maraschino cherries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Mix the glaze ingredients until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled loaf and let it set before slicing.
