- 6 cups Chex Cereal (Any flavor can be used)
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips (Almond bark is a substitute)
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter (Margarine works for dairy-free)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened) (Dairy-free cream cheese can be used)
- 1 pkg Cherry-Flavored Gelatin (Can be swapped for raspberry or strawberry)
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar (Adjust for less sweetness)
Instructions
- Prepare the cereal by measuring out 6 cups and placing it in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, combining white chocolate chips and unsalted butter. Microwave on medium for 30 seconds, then stir, repeating in 15-second intervals until smooth.
- Mix in the softened cream cheese and stir until combined, then sprinkle in the cherry-flavored gelatin and blend until smooth.
- Combine the chocolate-cream cheese mixture with the Chex cereal, folding gently with a spatula until well-coated.
- Coat with powdered sugar by transferring the mixture into a resealable bag or container, adding powdered sugar, and shaking until coated.
- Let it set by spreading the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 30 minutes.
