Description

Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu layers mascarpone cream, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and juicy cherries with almond liqueur for a luscious twist on the Italian classic.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup brewed espresso

¼ cup amaretto

24 ladyfinger cookies

2 cups cherries (fresh or canned)

16 oz mascarpone

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

1. Combine espresso and amaretto.

2. Dip ladyfingers and arrange in dish.

3. Beat mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla.

4. Whip cream and fold into mascarpone.

5. Spread half cream, then cherries.

6. Repeat layers.

7. Dust with cocoa.

8. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Swap amaretto for almond extract for alcohol-free.

Use frozen cherries (thawed and drained) if fresh aren’t available.

Prepare a day ahead for best flavor.
