- Jumbo pasta shells
- 1 cup Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 Egg
- Spinach (optional)
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, spinach (if using), garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each cooked shell with the cheese mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Customize the filling based on your preferences. Try adding cooked meat or more vegetables.
