Description

Delicious cheesy stuffed jumbo shells filled with creamy ricotta and mozzarella, topped with marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • Spinach (optional)
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, spinach (if using), garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each cooked shell with the cheese mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
