Description

A simple yet delightful dish combining tender baby potatoes, flavorful smoked sausage, and gooey cheese, enhanced with zesty ranch seasoning.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) smoked sausage, sliced into coins
  • 2 lbs (900g) baby potatoes, quartered
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a large baking dish or sheet pan.
  2. Wash and quarter the baby potatoes, keeping the skins on.
  3. In a large bowl, combine potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, tossing until coated.
  4. Spread seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  5. Add the sliced sausage on top of the potatoes, sprinkle with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and return to the oven for an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Allow leftovers to cool before storing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
