Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded Colby-Jack cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until it forms a paste.

  6. Pour the sauce over the potato and broccoli mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.

  10. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a lighter dish, using milk instead of cream helps maintain creaminess while reducing calories.
