A comforting cheesy hamburger potato casserole that combines ground beef, creamy soup, and layers of potatoes, all topped with gooey cheddar cheese.

- 1 pound Ground beef
- 4 cups Potatoes, sliced
- 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 Onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet until cooked through. Drain the excess fat.
- Mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk together in a large bowl.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish. Top with half of the beef mixture and half of the soup mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the beef, cover with foil to keep moist, and ensure even potato slices for best results.
